Photographs tell you what a location looks like. Film tells you what the day sounded like, the vows, the wind, the rotor spooling down. If you are deciding whether to add film to a small wedding budget, the honest answer is that it matters most when there are almost no guests to remember the day with you, and least when you have a large group who will each carry their own version of it.
